surprised by a knee healing

We met a man named Lamar. He passed us while we took out a tent to give it to someone who we knew for quite a while. At that time, Lamar stopped with his bike, and he said what are you guys doing around here. We introduced ourselves, and we complimented him on his bicycle saying it is the nicest bicycle we have seen around here in a while. 

He said, “Shhh, don’t tell anybody,” referring to his nice bicycle. We asked him if he needs prayer for anything. He said, “Nah I am good.” Then he said, “Well my knee is hurting quite a lot, but I am fine.” We then asked him some questions about the knee pain. He shared that he has had the pain for a while, and it is better when he rides a bicycle than when he walks. He said that it is a level 5 pain. After asking him again to pray, he kind of laughed a bit not taking it seriously. We said let’s pray very quickly, and we put our hand on his left knee praying for Jesus to touch him. We also took that opportunity to pray over him the truths of God, how much God loves him, what Jesus did for us, and how much God is desiring to show him who He is. When we said amen, Lamar said. "Yeah it feels good, I mean I have no pain." We shortly thanked Jesus, and we then asked him to walk to test it. 

There was no more pain. Not only did Lamar walk without pain, but we jumped together, celebrating this healing. The two other guys that were watching smiled and were celebrating with him. Lamar then said that he can’t deny this but he needs to just think about everything we shared. We told him again how much Jesus loves him and how Jesus died and rose again to give us a new life in Christ. Isn’t it beautiful how one touch from Jesus can open hearts. Sometimes those who take God lightly and even laugh, are the ones that are just an encounter away from having their eyes opened to a God that is not bound by man’s limitations. God is not bound by the expectations of people. He can reach any heart. He can show His love to any person. It is not because we earned it, but simply because God already gave everything for us to know Him and to be known by Him. (July, 2024)

Knee healing & seeds sown

We met a precious man named Jose on the streets. He could speak a little bit of English, but not enough to have a deeper conversation. We asked a man close by if he could translate for us, and he agreed. They knew each other, so he gladly stayed to translate. They both were Cuban so they had similarities in their stories. We stayed with them for a while and asked questions about their stories. We then shared the gospel and what it means to follow Jesus. The translator started to ask a few questions, and we kept on talking for a while. Their hearts were open to hear the good news, but when it came to the cost of following Jesus they were hesitant. We shared how putting our faith in Jesus also means that our life no longer belongs to us, but it belongs to God and what that means for our walk with Jesus. We shared how great God’s love is and how much God cares for them. There is no greater desire than that God the Father wants his lost children to come to Him. The translator said how thankful he is that we came. He shared that he will think about it and if he is ready to change. It was truly a time of sowing seeds in both of their lives. These times are so precious as we have seen many dozens of times that the next time, or a couple of times later the person then wants to surrender to Jesus. Each seed is important, and we can keep on showing love and believing that God waters those seeds. 

Jose also shared that he has strong pain in his right knee. When he took a step, we could see in his facial expression that it hurt him a lot. The translator said that Jose has had this strong pain for a while. We asked him about his pain level (1 being the least and 10 being the most), and he said it is a level 7 to 8. He shared that this pain has been constant for the past two years, and it is just always there. It has limited his mobility since taking steps hurts even more. 

We then prayed for his knee in the name of Jesus and when we stood up Jose said, “It went away.” We then asked him to walk a bit and see how it feels. Jose walked, and with a smile, he said with his beautiful accent “Jesus healed me, no more pain.” The translator who watched this happen was so happy for Jose and kept on saying "thank you for coming." We shared again about how deeply loved they are, and we gifted them a Bible so that they can start reading the word of God every day. We are excited for our next time seeing them and for all that God has in store. (June, 2024)

intense situation turns to jaw & knee healing

When going through the streets, we saw a man yelling at a precious woman named Jenny. He was filled with anger and rage since he felt that Jenny was in his way. We quickly rushed in to calm the fight. Jenny already had tears coming down her cheeks. It was very intense, and she was trying to protect herself. We gave our best to comfort her and stayed with her for a while. After the situation calmed down, we were able to get to know her. Jenny shared with us how scary it is to live out here. She has experienced a lot of abuse, and she said that she could not handle the screaming at her. She said how grateful she is that we came to her. 

Because of the situation, it was very natural to have a very personal conversation afterward. While spending time with Jenny, she sometimes put her hand on her jaw, and we asked her if she is in pain. Jenny shared that she does have pain in her jaw for a while now. She said that her jaw and her knee are the things that are bothering her. We asked her if she is open that we could pray for her in the name of Jesus, and she agreed. When praying for her, we spoke God’s truth over her and how much Jesus loves her. We then prayed for her left knee and her jaw to be healed in Jesus’ name, and Jesus did something only He could do. When Jenny moved her jaw, she made very big eyes. 

She said, “It feels good, I don’t feel any pain.” As she tested her knee by bending it and jumping, she said that she has no pain at all. Jenny shared how incredible that is. From there, she began smiling. It was so heartwarming to see Jesus touch her in such a powerful way. On a day where she was screamed at. On a day where she was scared. Jesus gifted her with supernatural healing. She heard and received of the love of God that is so different than the world. A love that gave everything so that we could be accepted by our loving God. supernatural shrinking away of lump

When walking through the streets we met a woman named Shannon. She was all scrunched up with her head on her knees. We went up to her to see if something was wrong. We said hi, but she did not look up. We then knelt down to her and asked for her name. She then looked up. Her face was covered in tears. She must have been crying for a while. We asked her what is burdening you. She then said that she is so scared. We asked her why are you scared, and she replied that she is scared to die. Then she began to quietly sob. So, we asked why she is afraid to die. Then she shared that she has this big lump on the back of her head, and she is scared that it is a tumor. She said that she has had it for some time now, and it has only gotten bigger. Shanon said that she is even too scared to go to the doctor. We asked her if she would like to show it to us, but she was a bit hesitant. We then shared that Naomi used to work as a nurse, and she then said ok we can look at it. Shannon had a wig on so she took it off for us to see her head. There we could see it. She had a big lump on the back of her head. The growth was hard and under her scalp. It was about 1 inch high. We told her that we can’t say if this is a certain type of growth or if it is a tumor without a scan. We sat with her for a while and tried our best to comfort her. We asked her some other questions and talked about life. We shared with her about Jesus and asked her if we can pray for healing. She nodded her head. We put our hands on her head and prayed for Jesus to heal her. And Jesus did something incredible. 

We saw how the lump began shrinking. We told her to touch it and feel it. She immediately started crying even more, and she said “It is going away, it is going away.” We prayed more, and we were able to witness how Jesus shrank the lump away. As she touched her head again, she was in awe of what just happened. Shanon said, “Thank you, thank you.” We thanked Jesus for the way He touched her so supernaturally. Afterward, we were just praising God, and we invited her to drink a soda together to celebrate what Jesus has done. What a glorious God we have! (April, 2024)

stiff toe healed & meeting her again

Last month, we passed a precious woman on the streets and said hi. We then realized that we knew her from almost a year ago. Sheily said that she remembers us. Back then, she was having a really hard day and was crying. We spent time with her that day and tried our best to comfort her. She also remembered that we invited her to drink a soda together, and she said how much she enjoyed the time back then. We told her how sweet it is that she remembers, and we are so happy to see her again. 

We saw that she was limping, and we asked her if she is in pain. She said that the toe is hurting her a lot more lately. We asked her if she is willing to take off the sock, and she did. When asking her to move her toe to see how much it hurts when moving, she said that she is unable to lift or bend the big toe. Sheily said that it is like stiff, but it hurts a lot. It was a pain level 8. She said that she has not been able to move the big toe for many months now and the pain has gotten worse. We asked her if we could pray for her, and she agreed. We touched her toe, and we prayed for her to be healed in Jesus’ name. She then immediately said that the pain went down. She said it is a 3 now. 

We prayed a second time, and we asked if you can try to move your toes again. She did and then she quickly looked down again. She said, “Ooh.” She was moving her big toe. The previously stiff one she was now able to move perfectly. She was so happy, and we glorified God. This month, we saw her again, and she said that her toe is still doing great and how thankful she is for this healing. What a gracious God we have. (March, 2024)

Leg pain and swelling healed

We just had witnessed Jesus heal someone's pain, and as we were still talking about what God had done, we saw a woman sitting on a suitcase. We said hi, and she said, “Oh it is so good to see you, look at my legs.” We had to shortly think for a second. But then we remembered.  The last time we saw her we prayed for her legs. It was Bretta. We hugged her and said how happy we are to see her. It was about 1.5 months ago, when we met her for the first time. Back then, she was barefoot although it was cold, and we asked her if we could help her put on socks. She said that she is not able to wear socks because nothing fits her due to the swelling. She had very strong water retention especially in her feet. Thankfully, we had large socks with us, and we were able to put it on very very slowly after stretching them out as much as we could. At that point, the socks fit comfortably around her feet. Bretta said that it is very hard for her to walk like this and she is having such strong pain. That day, we prayed for Jesus to heal her, and He did touch her in a special way. The pain went away, but the water retention was still there. So, we told her to celebrate and thank God for taking away the pain. We said that we will continue praying that the water retention would be healed as well. 

Now, we saw her over a month later. She showed us full of excitement how the water retention is gone. She said the day after we prayed with her, it started to feel better, and she even stopped taking the water pills. The swelling went away. Bretta said what a miracle this is and how at first she was so surprised. She said that she was not sure if it would come back, but it has not come back. She said, “It is a miracle.” We thanked God together, and we praised Him for touching Bretta in such a special way. 

As we were talking with her, we could not help but notice the woman laying on the ground beside her. She sometimes lifted the cover to see what was happening but then went back under. We then said hi to her and asked how she was doing. When she removed the covers, she had tears rolling down her eyes. Priscilla just found out the day before that her mom had died. She was heartbroken and so very sad. We felt God’s compassion for her and how God wants to comfort her. She then said that she knows Bretta and she knows about the healing she experienced in her legs. She said that this is pretty incredible. Bretta is now even on the housing list, and she is taking steps forward. We told her that Jesus is the One that gives hope even when everything around might seem hopeless. Jesus is the One that lifts your head and He is always there for you. Priscilla then said how much it encourages her to even hear what God has done for Bretta and it gives her hope for herself as well. Although Priscilla was not yet ready to pray together, she said that she will think about what we shared about Jesus. Isn’t it amazing how God used Bretta’s testimony to sow seeds into Priscilla’s heart. (February, 2024)

Incredible jaw healing

We met a man named Curtis. We said hi, and he just nodded his head. After introducing ourselves and asking for his name, we realized that he had an issue in his jaw. It was difficult for him to speak since he was only able to open his mouth to not even an inch. Before we could ask, he said that he is not able to talk that well because of a jaw surgery that he had 3 days ago. He said that the skin is completely numb from the outside but that his jaw hurts like crazy. We told him how sorry we are. It was very visible that he was in much pain. We asked him how much pain he has, and he said a level 8 even without talking. Since talking hurt him even more, we just jumped right in and asked if he is open to pray for his jaw. He said, if you want you can try. 

We prayed for his jaw and for Curtis to experience the love and power of God in a personal way. We prayed for all the pain to be gone in Jesus’ name and for the jaw to be completely healed. Even as we were still praying, Curtis moved his jaw and as we looked at him, he opened his mouth completely. He said, “What is that.” He talked completely normal. He was able to open his mouth all the way. He said, “It is crazy, I have literally no more pain.” We asked him to test the numbness too. When he touched his jaw, he could feel everything completely normal. He was healed by Jesus. What a gift from God. Curtis was clearly so surprised and even a little bit shocked. It was a drastic change. From strong pain to no pain. From minimum movement to full movement. From numbness to full feeling. It was a day where Jesus revealed His miraculous power to Curtis. healing of back & tears of joy

We were walking around and praying for the next person we are going to meet. From a distance, we saw a woman, and we said to each other let’s go to her. As we approached her, she shrank back a little, and we could tell that she was uncomfortable. We started by sharing about some people we know and about ourselves before talking about her so that she would not feel intimidated. After a while, she seemed more relaxed, and we asked what is your name. She said my name is Shaya, and she shared a little bit about her son. 

After some time talking, we asked her if she has any pain in her body. She said, “Oh yes, I have a lot of back pain.” She has been having consistent pain. Even at rest, the pain was at a level 5. We asked her how the pain feels when she moves or bends down, and she said that surprisingly it is about the same as at rest but just a tiny bit more. In a time of prayer, the Holy Spirit touched Shaya’s life in a special way.  She said, “I feel such a strong heat in my back. It is very hot.” We smiled at her and said that Jesus is touching her with His healing. She said with a big smile that she doesn’t feel any pain left. We were so happy and asked her if she could move around and bend all the way down. 

Shaya did, and she said it is amazing all the pain is gone. By that time, tears came into her eyes, and she said how much joy she feels. They were happy tears. She was so touched that God gifted her with this healing. We celebrated together what God did. We talked more about God’s truth over her, how deeply loved she is by God. Before we said bye, she said how incredible this is especially after having back pain for a long time. She shared how grateful she is that she is now well. Isn’t it amazing how the Holy Spirit touched her with His fire. It truly is a gift when we get to experience the power of God. (January, 2024)

Neck healing

We met a man named Brussel. He seemed to be deep in thought as we walked by. We greeted him, and we started with some small talk. In the conversation, he then said that he hurt his neck really badly which is why he can’t move it all the way to either side. We asked him how much pain he has, and he said that it is at a level 5 for sure when being still. We asked him to show us how far he can move his neck. He was able to turn it about an inch but the pain increased with the movement. Brussel said that it has been like this for days, and it is not getting better. 

We then asked him if we could pray for Jesus to heal him. He said yes but almost as if he didn’t expect us to pray at that moment. So, we asked if we can put our hand on his neck, and he then responded oh oh yes okay while shrugging his shoulders. During prayer, Jesus did something incredible. Brussel said he feels the pain going down. We prayed again, and he said it is gone, let me check it out. He then turned his neck all the way to both sides, saying full of excitement wow. He was so happy and said multiple times thank you. We thanked God for his full healing. We shared with him more about Jesus and how much he is loved by Him. What a glorious God we have.(December, 2023)

supernatural healing of foot problem

We met a woman named Natalie. She walked very slowly and had a strong limp. We asked her how she was hurt. She said that she has strong pain from her foot going upward. We said that we can tell by how she is limping that it must hurt a lot. We then spent time getting to know her, and she shared about her kids and about her life. We shared with her how much Jesus cares for her, and how precious she is to the Lord. We talked some more about God, and we then asked her if we could pray for her foot. She looked at us a little surprised, but then she said that we can go ahead and pray. We put our hands on her foot, and we prayed for Jesus to heal her. 

After we finished praying, Natalie shared that all the pain disappeared. She was so happy. Then we asked her if she would be willing to test it more by walking. She then walked back and forth, and the pain and limp was completely gone. She could walk perfectly. Jesus healed Natalie that day, and she was so thankful. Tears were rolling down her face as she was in awe of what God did. She said, “This is incredible.” Naomi hugged her for a while as she was still crying. 

We thank God for healing Natalie supernaturally and for touching her heart in such a special way. Isn’t it amazing that when Jesus heals individuals, He is also wanting to touch their hearts. For God always cares about the one. He always cares about the heart. What a kind God we have. (November, 2023)

Knee healing

When walking through the streets, we met a man named Estefan. He was fixing up his bike. We asked him if he likes fixing bikes. He said that he loves to ride his bike, but he can’t due to very strong pain in his left knee. We asked him how much pain he has, and he said a 9 or even a 10. He was only able to lift his knee a couple of inches high, and even when at rest the pain was very strong. We chatted for a while and got to know him. 

Estefan shared that he has only been living for about a year after he came from Mexico. We shared with him about practical resources that will help him to get off the streets. He was very happy about it since this is his big goal, and he didn’t know much about it. 

We then asked Estefan if we could pray for his knee, and he agreed. We prayed for Jesus to touch him and to heal his knee. After prayer, he immediately tested his knee out without us even asking him to do so. He then gave a little shout and said, “It is gone. I am healed.” We asked him what he felt God do in his life. He then shared that during the prayer, he felt the pain leave right away so he had to test it when moving. He was able to lift his knee up high again just like his other knee. We praised Jesus together and gave Him glory for doing such a wonderful work in his life. It is truly a gift from God. 

Later that day, as we were talking with another person living on the streets, we all of the sudden heard someone shout “Yoo, look at what I can do yoo.” We turned around, and we saw Estefan on his bike with the biggest smile. We waved at him, and he shouted again, “Look at what I can do.” How sweet and beautiful it was to see Estefan celebrating what God did for him. He knew it was a miracle, and he even shouted it out. (November, 2023)

DOCTOR CONFIRMS BROKEN ARM HEALED

Continued story from July:

In July we met Torianna. She shared with us that a few days ago she was standing beside her tent when she was suddenly hit by a car. She was then rushed to the hospital by the ambulance. Torianna came out of the hospital with a large cast because of her broken arm, and thankfully she did not have any other complications. She said her arm hurts so bad that she cannot move it at all without strong pain, and even the slightest movement causes severe pain. She said that the pain medication doesn’t help so she just stopped taking it. 

Back in July, we then prayed for her arm to be healed in Jesus’ name. After we prayed, we asked her to test it. She lifted her arm with the large cast over her head, and she looked at her friend named Seb. She then put her other hand on her head as she stood there shocked by what happened. Torianna then shared with us that all the pain was gone! Praise Jesus! We shared with Torianna the gospel, and we encouraged her to go to the hospital to get the cast removed. She said this is so surreal, but I will go right away.

This month, we saw Torianna again. She greeted us with a warm hug and a large smile. She shared with us that three days after we prayed she was at the doctor. At the appointment, she said I want to have the cast removed because my arm was healed. She said that she was so shocked by the miracle, and the doctor confirmed that her arm is well and no longer broken. Seb said it is so crazy that this happened. 

Torianna’s arm was completely broken, but God fully healed it! She thanked us that we took the time to pray for her and that this truly changed her life. Torianna was not yet ready to give her life to Jesus, but this time when we shared the gospel with her again she listened so carefully as if she was a whole different person. God is running after her, and we will continue praying for Torianna to open her heart to the only One who saves. 

Isn’t it amazing how the Father reveals Himself to His children. He is seeking the lost, and He wants each one to be found in His loving arms. We love this story because we have seen many many times that individuals were healed by Jesus, and within days, weeks, or months, they decided to turn their lives around and start following Jesus. Each seed sown is worth it. Each seed can grow into something so wonderful. We thank God for the way He reveals His nature and love to those that we meet on the streets. (September, 2023)

Back healing & meeting him again

We met a man named Damian. We chatted about ordinary life. We talked about some of the same people we all knew that we haven’t seen in a while wondering how they must be doing. As we chatted, we began sharing the gospel with him. He shared that he doesn’t believe in all that nonsense. We then shifted the conversation to some other things. 

Later in the conversation, Damian shared that he has trouble sleeping. We asked why. He said that he has had bad back pain consistently for the past 4 months. We asked him if he has pain right now. He said yeah I mean I feel the pain all the time. We asked if we can pray together. We were surprised that he agreed since he was repulsed towards a conversation about Jesus.

After praying together, Damian was fully healed. He looked at us confused. He then said was that some magic trick or something. We said no that was Jesus healing your back. He started fidgeting. Then he said if it comes back then I will know if this healing thing was real or not. We then shared the gospel with him, and we went on our way. 

A few days later we saw Damian again. When he saw us, he came to us, said hi, and then he just silently stood there. We looked at each other thinking this is awkward because he was just standing there silently. We asked him if everything is ok. 

Damian said now I know it wasn’t a magic trick. We knew exactly what he meant, and we asked him who healed your back. He then said well you said it was Jesus. We said you are right it was Jesus. We then shared the gospel again. We also shared that Jesus doesn’t just want to bless you with healing, but he also wants to gift you with salvation. Damian said that he doesn’t want to follow Jesus yet, but he looked at us and said maybe one day I will. Before he walked away to run some errands, Damian thanked us with a warm smile while saying hope to see you soon. We thank God for the way He is revealing Himself to Damian, and we pray that Damian would see how our God is pursuing him with such love and persistence. These encounters are seeds sown into his heart, and we know that our good Father keeps pursuing His children. What a gracious God we have. He is so eager to go after the one, and yet so patient in waiting for us. What a loving God we have. (July, 2023)

Jesus heals shoulder issue & headache

We met a man named Pike. We spent some time getting to know him, and among other things he shared that he has two places in his body that need healing. He shared that he has a strong headache and that he has had it all day long. He also shared that he has had shoulder pain for a long time. He said that he doesn’t really know when or why it started, but the pain makes it hard for him to move his shoulder and limits his mobility. We asked if we could pray together, and he nodded his head. During the time of prayer, we shared God’s truth with him, and we prayed for healing in Jesus’ name. 

When we said amen, Pike looked up and said my head pain left. He shook his head a little and said yes it is completely gone. No pain. We praised God and then asked how his shoulder feels. He lifted his arm up in the air and moved his left shoulder with a big smile saying, I feel great. It is perfect. Jesus fully healed Pike’s head pain and shoulder pain. 

Pike kept hugging us while we chatted afterward. He kept on listing more things that he would like to pray for together such as family members and other people he knows. Pike was so encouraged that he experienced God healing his body. What a wonderful and mighty God we have! Praise the Lord! (June, 2023)

knees healed from pain & cracking

We met a man named Forrest. He shared that every time he bends his knees it really hurts. He also said that his knees crack every time he bends them. He showed us, and we could hear the cracking when he bent down. We asked if we could pray together, and he said yes. We prayed for God to show him the love and thoughts He has toward him, and we prayed for his knees to be healed.

After the prayer, we asked Forrest if he could bend his knees to test it. He quickly bent his knees and he looked up with a surprised facial expression. He kept bending his knees again and again. Then, he said I have no more pain. It is gone. Jesus fully healed his knees of all pain. Forrest was so excited that he just experienced a healing. 

As he tested them, we could still hear a cracking sound although the pain was gone. We prayed again, and Forrest tested his knees multiple times. After another time of praying for the healing to be completed, the cracking sound was gone. He got even more excited, and he kept on bending his knees even when we were chatting afterward. There was no more pain and no more cracking. It was a beautiful day of Jesus revealing Himself to Forrest as the Healer. We shared more about Jesus and how much He loves him. Forrest shared how moved he is that God did this for him. There is no other person who can heal and give life except Jesus. It is our glorious King. Our Savior. Our Healer! Praise the Lord! (June, 2023)

a heart touched & back pain healed

We met a woman named Ashlynn. She shared that she has pain in her back. We asked her how much pain she feels (on a scale of 1 being the least and 10 being the most). She answered by saying level 2. We then asked if we could pray together. She gave it a quick thought and said yeah sure. After we prayed, we asked her how she feels. 

With tears in her eyes, she said that she feels so very touched. She didn't say what exactly touched her, but we began sharing truth from God’s word. We shared about the love of Jesus with her while she continued to have tears running down her face. After she wiped her face with her hands, she looked us shortly in the eyes. After a little bit, we then asked her how her back feels. 

Ashlynn said that she no longer feels any pain in her back. She shared how grateful she is, but also that she really needed this, meaning God to touch her heart. We talked about the presence of God, and how He longs to show Himself to us. No matter how ‘small’ or ‘big’ a healing, it is just as beautiful. Jesus encountered Ashlynn. She was deeply touched by God in a supernatural way. The Lord is the Healer, and He also loves to gift His children by showing His miraculous power and love. (February, 2023)

Drug dealers knees & back healed

We met a man named Jeno. Jeno was a drug dealer that we have seen numerous times from a distance. When we met him this month, he shared that he saw us across the street before. He asked us creatively if we are looking for some drugs. We shared with him that we are going around on our scooters saying hi to friends and praying together. He seemed a little shocked when we said that. We chatted a little longer, and he shared that he has strong back pain. We asked if he has any other pain in his body. He shared that he also has strong pain in both of his knees. We asked him how much pain he has in his knees and back. He said that due to his back issue he cannot bend down far at all and also feels pain while standing. Jano said that he cannot bend his knees without having strong pain, and he cannot crouch all the way down. 

We prayed together, and we declared healing in Jesus Name. While praying, we also shared the gospel message and how much Jesus loves him. After we prayed, we asked him to test it out. Jano said with a smile that all the back pain is gone, and he said that is crazy (since previously he could feel the pain while standing). We then asked him to test out his back all the way by doing some more back movements. Jeno said you mean right now. We said yes test it all the way out. He seemed a little reluctant, but we kept encouraging him to test it out by doing movements that previously would have caused pain or he could not do before. Once he began testing his back and knees he noticed something incredible. 

Jeno’s back and knees were completely and fully healed by Jesus. Jeno was amazed by what just happened. In one moment God took all his physical pain away. Jeno crouched down to the floor saying, all the pain is gone wow I have no pain at all. Jeno kept bending over and reaching to the sky while also saying wow I haven’t been able to do this in so long. 

Jeno then asked if he can walk with us. We said of course. As we were walking, he said to us so this is what you do. We asked what do you mean. Jeno said this is what you do you go around and heal people. We then reminded him about what we shared which is that Jesus healed him. Jesus is the only one who can bring healing and life. We also shared that God does not only want to just heal his body, but Jesus wants  to give Him Salvation. We shared the gospel again, and we shared that this invitation to a relationship with God is much like walking because it is a journey. Giving our lives to Jesus is the beginning of a journey where we can walk with God throughout life. This time when we shared the gospel, he was completely focused on the words we shared with him.

That facial expression Jeno made while we shared the gospel with him after his healing reminded us of something. It reminded us of the many that were in the very place where Jeno was that day. Jeno once thought that what he called ‘this Jesus thing’ was a fairytale, but now he suddenly experienced the tangible healing power of God. Jeno once thought that the power of praying to Jesus was fake. Now he experienced how both his knees and back went from a place of strong pain to no pain at all and experienced completely restored movement. 

This experience Jeno had made him think about everything he believed before and confronted him with the decision that only he can make. He now was thinking about if he wants to put his whole faith in Jesus the one who supernaturally healed his knees and back. We encouraged him to pray to Jesus, and we are excited to see what God has in store for him. God is so gracious. He reveals Himself and invites us all to come into His loving arms. (February, 2023)

back fully healed

When meeting Dave, he shared that he has been having a hard day and generally it has been challenging for him. We spent time with him and listened to how he was doing. At some point in our conversation, he shared that he has been having back problems, and the pain has been bothering him in his daily life (level 5 pain out of 10). We shared with him about the love of God and asked if we could pray with him. He opened his eyes after prayer and said that every pain left. So, he started moving his back and walking around amazed that he was healed.  
 

We thanked God for touching Dave’s life. Each touch of God is priceless. A touch with His presence can bring forth a hunger for him. We are grateful for each time God encounters individuals. He knows exactly how He can get a person’s attention. That day, He got the attention of Dave, and we can’t wait what God is going to continue doing in his life. (January, 2023)

Back healing

We met a man named Joel. He had strong back pain. We shared how we have seen Jesus do many back healings and that Jesus is the healer of hearts but also of bodies. Joel then asked if we can pray to Jesus to heal him. We were excited that he had an expectation for God to heal him although it was something new to him. We asked if he is also willing to test it out after we pray. He said yes of course. We prayed for God to heal him from all his back pain and to also touch his heart with His love. When it came time to test it out, Joel tested his back in much detail. He was doing this for over a minute while we just stood there watching him. We started laughing to ourselves because it was like Joel was doing a solo exercise routine while we were just watching. He then also had to laugh. As we asked him if he feels any pain anymore, Joel looked at us with a smile and said I’m healed. 

Joel experienced a full back healing. We told him that this was Jesus' supernatural work in his body. That no one else can heal and bring restoration like Jesus. When Jesus touches someone, He brings life and an invitation to follow Him. Joel was so excited about the healing and then began hugging us. First, he hugged Naomi, and then he hugged Eliel. After that, he kept on going back and forth hugging us one at a time while thanking us for praying together. After all the hugging, we prayed together thanking Jesus for what he did. We are excited for all that the Lord has in store for Joel. (December, 2022)

jesus gifts one woman with 5 healings

We met a woman named Tesla. She was sitting on a walker, and she started sharing about all the different things that she was battling with throughout the years. It was quite a long list of ailments. She had strong back pain (she could not bend down), knee pain (was not able to bend her knee without pain), walking problems due to having metal in her leg (could only walk with a walker & had balance problems so that she always needed something to hold herself onto), and she had pain in her left hand where she had a removable cast. We prayed together for her healing. 

During the prayer, she just started crying. We asked her what she is feeling. Tesla said all the back pain left. She then lifted her hand, and she said while weeping even my hand has no pain anymore. We then asked her to take off the cast, and she did. She then took a bottle and opened it. She cried saying that she could not open a bottle with this hand in such a long time until now. She experienced a full back healing and a full hand healing. 

At this point, she was so touched by the miraculous power of Jesus and what she experienced in her back and hand. We asked her if she is willing to walk. We held her hands in order to help her start walking, but then she let go of our hands and walked completely alone. She climbed up a step, went on her knees, and she just kept weeping and weeping saying I can't believe this I can't believe this. When she walked she kept saying that she could never do this. She kept saying I always needed a walker, and I always had to hold onto something to not lose my balance, but now she could walk perfectly. It was so amazing what God was doing. 

Tesla said that every burden in her life has been taken care of. She said that there is only one thing that she still needs to do. We asked her what is that. She then said that she needs to go get an eye exam. We then told her well let's pray for this as well. Before praying we tested it together. We pulled out our iPhone. She was just barely (with squinting and some guessing) able to read large print on our iPhone. The small print was too difficult for her to read. 

After praying, she looked at the small print, and she gasped while holding her hand to her mouth. She looked at us and said I can read it perfectly now. We then opened a small printed Bible, but she said she could not read it yet. We prayed again together. This time Tesla read the small printed Bible verses out loud while crying and crying. Her eyes were fully restored.  

It was truly a day of miracles. Tesla experienced God's miraculous power and healing over her entire body. For the rest of the hour that we saw her, she just kept walking around so excited about what Jesus did. She experienced healing over her entire body. Amazing! (September, 2022)

eye healing

We met a man named Maxton. He shared with us how he could not read due to bad eyesight. One of the people there had a black shirt on with large red printed letters on it. We asked Maxton if he could read it. Maxton shared that even that large print is blurry for him which makes it impossible for him to read it. 

Before we prayed together, we shared a testimony of a time when someone else needed healing in his eye and how God healed him. This testimony encouraged Maxton. We then asked if we could pray together, and Maxton said yeah why not. 

After the first time praying, we asked Maxton if he could read out the letters on the black shirt. He looked at us and said I can read it perfectly while making a facial expression showing his astonishment. Before we prayed a second time, we then got out our bible phone application and turned to John 3:16 with the font at extra-large (equivalent to maybe size 30 font). We asked can you read this verse out loud. Maxton said that although he can now read the very large print on the t-shirt, he cannot read the font on the phone because it is so blurry. We prayed a second time together, and we declared God’s healing over him. We looked at him, and asked him did you sense anything. Maxton said no nothing. We then held up the phone, and we asked if he can read this out loud. He gasped, read out the verse John 3:16, and read it till verse 17. He kept saying that is crazy that is crazy, I could not do this before, this is just incredible.

Before we prayed a third time, we changed the extra large font to a small font (equivalent to maybe a size 10 font). We asked can you read this verse out loud. He said, this is a little blurry, but of course, I can’t read it because it is a really small font for a 75-year-old. He said how happy he already is with his vision being what he considers now great. We then prayed a third time, and we asked him to read another verse. At this point, Maxton experienced a full healing. He could read small 10 font from our iPhone perfectly. He read and read out loud while thanking Jesus for what He did in his life. 

Maxton said that it touches him so much that Jesus healed his eyes that day. In the beginning, he couldn’t even read the large writing on a t-shirt, and, in the end, he could read small font (size 10 font) on an iPhone. Maxton said that he has heard of miracles before, but what he experienced today was a miracle he would never forget. Maxton was so thankful to Jesus, and he gave us a big hug thanking us for taking the time to be with him. He said that when we were on the other side of the road and waved at him, he thought to himself that we were not waving at him but to someone else because we had never met before. As we walked in the other direction on the other side of the street, he had this thought I hope they will come to me. Maxton shared how crazy it was when he saw that we crossed the street to come to him also because he has been feeling so sad. We were touched when he shared that, and we thanked God that He sees him and knows how to touch his heart. Maxton is seen by God, and he experienced the power and Presence of our Savior. We shared how all the glory goes to our glorious Jesus. The Healer and Savior of all. (September, 2022)

Neck pain healed

We met a woman named Angie. She shared with us that she has neck pain, and she took her right hand to indicate where on her neck it all hurts. She said that it did not hurt at all yesterday. Today, on the other hand, it first got stiff, and then it started to hurt more and more throughout the day. We asked her how much pain she feels, and she said it hurts so badly now. We asked if we could pray together, and she said yes. We prayed for her neck. We prayed for healing in the name of Jesus and for a touch from God.

A few short minutes later Jesus fully healed Angie's neck pain. Angie put her hand to her face as tears rolled down. Jesus showed himself to her in a way that she did not expect at all. She had an experience that she could not deny. 

Jesus touched Angie with a full neck healing that day. The hand that first pointed to the place of pain became the hand that was wiping her tears off her face. Her response to God's supernatural love and power was a heart in awe of His goodness.  (August, 2022)

Jesus heals back pain

We met someone named Lewis. During our conversation, he kept putting his hand on his back. We asked him if it hurts him. He said yeah. We asked on a scale of 1 through 10 (1 being the least and 10 being the most) what pain level do you feel? He said a level 3. We then prayed for God to heal his back. 

After the prayer, we asked Lewis how his back feels. He tested it by moving it around, stretching, and bending over. He said my back feels perfect, absolutely perfect, just perfect. We were so excited that God healed his back. We shared with him how Jesus is a God who cares for us and how He desires to have a relationship with us. We could tell that it was all a lot for Lewis to process. He then thanked us, and he went on his way while waving at us a few times. (July, 2022)

ear healing

We met a woman named Tyra. We chatted a little bit together, and before we left, we asked if she has anything that she would like to pray for together. She shared with us that she has strong pain in her left ear. She said that it has been getting worse and worse. We asked if we could pray together for Jesus to heal it, and she said yes. After a few minutes, we asked her how it feels. 

Tyra shared that all the pain was completely gone. She was so happy and full of joy. She began celebrating what just happened. We shared the gospel with her, and we are believing for the Lord to continue wooing her into relationship with Him in due time. (June, 2022)

Knee healing

We met a woman named Alexis. She was sitting on the floor, and she shared with us how her knee hurts so bad because she fell on it really badly. We asked her how much pain do you feel on a scale of 1 through 10 (1 being the least and 10 being the most)? She said that her left knee hurts like a level 8. She showed us the strong swelling, and she showed us how little she could move it. She agreed to pray together, and we were all eager for God to supernaturally intervene. 

After the prayer, Alexis saw that the swelling on her left knee was gone. We were so touched by God's work. After that she quickly stood up, looked at us with a smile, and she started dancing around completely free of pain. From level 8 pain to 0 pain. God is so good! 

This story really touches our hearts because we want to live a life of thankfulness. We want to convey this with all our strength. We also want to be extravagant in our expression of thanksgiving for He is always worthy of our thanksgiving dance! (June, 2022)

Healing of Full Body Pain

We met a woman named Ann. We chatted together, and it seemed that she was sad. As we continued talking, she shared that not only is she sad but that she is suffering from a chronic disease. Ann experiences pain in her entire body all the time. She said that she has given up hope of it going away, and she doesn’t know how much longer she can handle it. She said that no matter how much medication she takes, her pain is terrible. We asked her on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the least and 10 being the most) how much pain she experiences. She said it is a level 8, but since it is all the time it feels like more. We asked if we could pray together, and she said yes. 

During the prayer, God was moving on her. She was experiencing the presence of the Lord. It was so beautiful how Ann opened her heart to receive from God, and Jesus was encountering her in a way that Ann never experienced in that way before. We were so excited about what God was doing, and we declared God’s purposes over her life. 

After the prayer, we asked her how her body feels. She looked at us with sparkling eyes. She lifted her eyebrows, laughed to herself, and said that the pain is maybe a level 3. She was so excited that we could tell that she was already beyond thankful for what God already did. She was glowing having experienced firsthand something that just minutes ago seemed unimaginable. 

After the second prayer, God then fully healed Ann’s pain! 

She shared that she feels absolutely no pain at all anywhere in her body. We celebrated together. This was the first time in years that she was free from pain. She had a level 8 pain all over her body. Now she was completely free. Before she was completely hopeless, and now God gave her hope. In the past, she felt pain, and now she was free from pain. We prayed for God’s protection over her body and that she would see more of the love God has for her each new day. We are so excited for what the Lord has in store for Ann. This healing was something that really opened her heart toward the Lord. We are excited for the journey that awaits her and for all that God has in store for her. (May 2022)

SHOULDER & KNEE HEALING

We met someone named Conner. We discussed a wide range of topics, and he seemed to enjoy our conversation. At one point, he shared that he was experiencing a lot of pain in his shoulders and knees. We asked on a scale of 1 through 10 (1 being the least and 10 being the most) how much pain do you feel in your shoulders and knees? He responded by saying around a 7. Connor agreed to pray together for God to heal him. As we prayed, Connor kept looking at us as if he was curious about what exactly we were doing. 

After the prayer, we asked Connor to test it out. Connor first looked at us with a blank face. Then he began to bend down, put his weight on each foot, and make jumping movements. He kept looking up at us while he was testing it. Connor didn’t seem like he was in a hurry because he was taking his time. We just stood there silently waiting for him while he also continued moving his left and right shoulders. 

Connor then shared something exciting. He shared that the pain was almost gone. He looked at us not exactly knowing how he was to respond or react. We showed excitement, and we began praying for God to bring 100% healing. 

After the second prayer, Connor looked at us with large eyes and said that he was completely healed. He was so amazed by what God did. His level 7 pain level now went down to a 0. He could move his shoulders and knees without any pain at all. God’s supernatural power healed Connor’s shoulders and knees. We thank our wonderful and mighty God! He is a God who reveals His closeness and His great love. (April 2022)

WHEN GOD ALREADY KNOWS AND BRINGS HEALING

We have seen Andrea numerous times around the streets. She was just putting up her tent. We chatted and asked how she was doing. We touched base about some things that we talked about in past conversations, but she seemed a bit distracted. Before we left, we asked if there is anything that she wants to pray for together. She responded by saying that she doesn’t have anything to pray for right now. We asked if she needs any healing in her body. Andrea said that she doesn’t have anything and that she has no pain at all. We said goodbye, and we were about to walk away. 

Right then, Naomi received a word of knowledge. Naomi turned around and said Andrea, can I ask you a question? Andrea said sure, while she was still attempting to put up her tent. Naomi asked do you have pain in the lower part of your back. Andrea stopped in her tracks, raised her eyebrows, opened her mouth, looked at us with large eyes, and said how did you know that? We then shared with her how God really does care for her, and sometimes He gives glimpses of what He wants to share with us. 

We asked if she is open to praying together for her back, and she said if it is like that then yes. After praying, Andrea was blown away that God brought healing to her back. Praise the Lord! God is so good! Isn’t it wonderful that the revelation that God knows us deeply opens our hearts to receive more of Him? We all want to be known and seen by God, and He really does know and see us fully. Even when we are distracted by the things we do, God is eager to encounter us exactly where we are. (March 2022)

HEALING OF A HAND

We have known Tay for a while. This month, when we were chatting together, she shared how she has pain in her hand. She then continued talking about some other things that were on her mind lately. After we chatted a little longer, we asked her if we could pray together for her hand shortly. She said sure we can do that. 

God fully healed Tay’s hand. It was so amazing for her to see and experience God heal her hand. Tay shared how amazing this miracle was for her because it made her feel so encouraged. She was so excited to have experienced God do something supernatural in her life. Since then, she often asks us questions about God, and we often talk about Jesus together when we chat. (March 2022)

HEALING OF BACK PAIN AND A TOUCH FROM GOD

Nick is a young man in his 20s. His face was completely covered by his hair. Throughout the whole conversation, he never made eye contact. While we chatted, we could sense how troubled and knocked-down he felt. We asked him if there is something that he wished would change in his new year. He said that he hopes that this new year will be better than last year because in the past year he had multiple near-death experiences that traumatized him. Nick shared that he also has really bad back pain due to one of the experiences that he had which he didn’t want to share in more detail. After we chatted a bit, we asked if we could pray together for his healing. He said OK while shrugging his shoulders in a way as if he didn’t want to be rude by saying no.

As we waited on God’s Presence while praying, we listened for what the Lord wanted to speak over his life. We shared various impressions and pictures that we saw for him, and then we prayed for his back. After we finished the prayer, Nick pushed his hair back and looked into our eyes. While we made eye contact, he said thank you so very much for that. It touched us how his demeanor changed throughout the prayer. His heart seemed so soft and warm as opposed to rejected and hurt. 

We asked if he is willing to test out his back. He said I don’t have any pain anymore! He said before he had constant pain even while standing, and now he doesn’t have any pain anymore. He said that the pain completely left. Praise the Lord! Nick then continued to do various large stretching movements. He reached for the ground and moved sideways. He looked with a smile and said thank you so much I am healed. 

It was so touching for us to see how God touched this young man. We could tell that God brought a spark of hope into His life. What a wonderful God we have. The ones who feel hopeless find eternal hope in Him. (February 2022)

HEALING OF A HAND

When we met Omir, he spoke very quietly to us. We leaned in trying our best to understand what he was saying. He seemed shy. After a few minutes in our conversation, we noticed that he was more heartbroken than shy. He shared more about his situation. He also shared about his hand. He said that his hand is really swollen, has a lot of pain, and is completely numb. We could see how swollen his hand was. He explained to us that he can’t feel anything in his hand, and it hurts like crazy, all the while being larger than the other hand because it was swollen. Omir shared with us how this hand has been challenging for him, and it seemed like it was difficult for him to imagine how prayer could make any difference. 

After the first time praying, God took all of the pain out of Omir’s hand! Praise the Lord! After praying a second time, God completely restored all feeling into Omir’s hand! During this, we saw how the swollenness was going down, as well. Omir started moving his hand and smiled saying it feels normal again. God is so good! The Lord completely restored Omir’s hand that day. In the end, the swollenness, pain, and numbness were completely gone.

At this point, Omir was so encouraged. We then began to pray together again, and God was speaking into Omir’s heart. We shared a few words that God gave us, and he had tears roll down his face because he was encountering the love of God. His heart was wide open to receive from the Lord. Although Omir was in one of his most difficult seasons of life, God healed his hand and revealed His love to Omir in such a special way that day. (January 2022)

GOD FINISHES THE WORK THAT HE STARTED

Recap

You might remember Shirley from our November Newsletter. A quick recap, she tripped on a railroad track, and she hurt her ankles. Due to the strong pain, she could not walk anymore. She was not even able to stand up let alone take a few steps because the pain was so bad. She said that she was just sitting and laying down all day because she couldn’t walk or do anything.

Recap Healing

After praying together numerous times, God brought such healing to her that Shirley was able to walk on both feet. As we were walking back and forth with her, we were giving thanks to God for the miraculous healing He was doing. Shirley said that the pain left about 70% or more. She was so overjoyed that she could walk again. 

This Month

We didn’t see her since then, but, when meeting her this month, we found something out.  Shirley said that after we went away God completely finished the healing. Shirley was left with absolutely no pain at all. God completely healed both of Shirley’s ankles. Shirley was not able to walk, but now she can walk with no pain at all. Her ankles were 100% restored! We thank God for His wonderful ways, and how He fulfills His work. Stories like these are so touching for they testify of our God who continues what He started. He completes it. What a joy it is to see it and celebrate! (January 2022)

HEALING OF A HEADACHE

We have talked and chatted with Margaret a few times in the past year. We haven’t seen her for a couple of months now, and while catching up she shared how difficult the last months have been. She said that she lost four family members in a two-month period, and the closest one was her son. We listened to her story and tried our best to comfort her, but she was so very heartbroken by her extreme loss. 

Margaret shared that she has been experiencing these terrible headaches that just won’t go away. She shared about her pain striking headaches while going back and forth between the sadness of losing those she loved so dearly. It seemed like she was very aware of how her strong headaches were connected to the emotional turmoil she has been experiencing. Especially since the headaches have not gone away and are so connected to the pain that she experiences in her heart; she knew in her circumstance that they are connected in some way.

We asked Margaret if she is willing to pray together for her headache and her heart. Margaret said with a whisper-sounding voice yes. After praying together, we asked her how she feels. Margaret shared that her headache decreased a little. We thanked God for that with celebration, and we prayed again asking God to supernaturally heal her heart and for the headache to completely leave her body.

After we prayed a second time, Margaret sat while being completely quiet. She kept moving her head in different directions. After a few more moments she looked at us, and she said with a much louder voice “it is gone it is really gone.” Praise the Lord! God healed Margaret’s headache! 

Margaret shared how touched she is that she experienced God. She shared that this means so much to her because these last months have been so hard. She said that the fact that God healed her pain is for her as if God wanted to personally encourage her. We could tell that what God did for her was so much more than what met the eye.

It was so touching hearing Margaret continue to express how amazing this experience was for her. We then talked about how God can heal her heart just like He healed her headache. We talked about how we all need God to heal us. We shared how just that same week we also lost someone very special to us. We said that when we are sad, God is the One that brings peace to our hearts. When our hearts are hurting, He is the One that heals us. We could tell that Margaret was really hearing what we were sharing, and we are beyond excited for all the healing and comfort that God will bring to her heart. (December 2021)

PRECIOUS TO THE LORD & ANKLE HEALING

We have seen Shirley maybe four or five times in recent months. In our past conversations, we consistently shared how precious she is to God. We would often talk about how our value is based on who God made us and not based on our past experiences or decisions. We talked about how our value is deeply rooted in the fact that the Creator of the world wanted us and gave us value in Him.

Shirley said in each of our past conversations that she has a hard time believing that she is precious to God. The theme that she is precious to Him was a truth that Shirley had a difficult time believing.  

When we saw Shirley this month, she was holding her ankles with both hands. When we asked her how she was doing, she shared that she was crossing the train tracks recently, and then she tripped and fell. She said that she sprained her right ankle through the fall, and her left ankle is hurting due to overstressing it. Shirley said that she has been sitting all day because she cannot walk due to the pain. She shared that a few minutes ago she tried to walk a few steps, but her ankles hurt so badly that she knew that she just needed to wait till both ankles are healed.

We prayed for multiple minutes. Shirley then tried to stand up, and she said that the pain decreased after the prayer. We then prayed again, and Shirley said that the pain decreased a second time. She was getting really excited. We asked her how much pain she had, and how much pain she has now. Shirley said that the pain is at least 70% or more better (meaning if 10 is the worst pain, her level 7 ankle pain went to about a level 3 or lower). Thank you, Lord! We began to honor what God was doing. She shared with us how thankful she is that she can now walk again. She showed us by walking around. Shirley also said that she has heard of healings before, and for her, it is just so crazy that she gets to experience one herself. We shared the gospel with her, how God is a Father who loves us, and we shared how precious she is to the Lord. We are continuing to believe for a 100% healing for Shirley, and for God to continue to reveal himself to Shirley as the loving Father who finds her oh so very precious. (November 2021)

THE POWER OF GOD’S HEALING

When we met Mike, he shared with us that he hurt his ankle a while ago, and it has not been healing properly. He said that he cannot jump on his ankle because it would cause shooting pain. We shared with him that we have heard of God healing multiple ankles in the San Diego area lately. We shared some stories that we have experienced and some stories that some of our friends have shared with us. 

After hearing the previous testimonies, he said that he is open to praying together. The first two times we prayed, he tested his ankle, and he then said that it still really hurt. The third time we prayed he shared that the ankle pain is now feeling better. He kept on putting weight on it, and he repeatedly kept on saying “wow” while testing it. We prayed a fourth time. During this prayer, we thanked God for the partial healing. We asked God that he would finish the work that he started. After this time of praying, Mike was willing to try jumping on it. He jumped around and tested it by putting his full weight on his ankle. Previously, he was not able to jump on it without very strong pain. But now, he was jumping with absolutely no pain at all. He had a large smile on His face as he was sharing how exciting this is. Jesus completely healed Mike’s ankle. We then had an amazing conversation about who God is. We pray that God would continue to reveal himself to Mike. We also pray that Mike will continue to take the leap of faith into all that God has prepared for him. (September 2021)

JESUS HEALS AND ENCOURAGES US TO KEEP ON GOING

We met Lincoln, who is wearing the red shirt, for the first time this month. At the time when Lincoln walked by and stopped, we were in a conversation with Eddie. Eddie is also someone who is experiencing homelessness. He gave his life to the Lord multiple months ago, and we have been walking in discipleship with Eddie in recent months. When Lincoln told us that he has back pain, Naomi, Eliel, and Eddie then prayed for God to heal his back. 

After praying, we asked Lincoln to try it out. He immediately tested it, and, in just a matter of moments, God brought healing to his back. Lincoln was so happy, that he began to hop around with joy. Lincoln shared that what happened to his back encourages him so much. He said that he felt like giving up recently. It was so touching as he then said that through the prayer, the encouraging words, and what now happened to his back he feels strength to not give up and to keep on going.

This story is such a beautiful picture of how miracles are so much more than physical healings. They are acts of love from God. They testify of a Father who sees us and a Savior who is for us. God encourages us to keep going. He is the One who strengthens us and who walks with us through it all. 

Discipleship

We love that Eddie, who gave his life to the Lord in recent months, has been stepping out in faith and joining us when we pray with others. We are so excited for everything that God has in store for him. 

Although Eddie is currently homeless, God is equipping him in this season, partnering and encountering Him, and we believe that God is giving him special shoes that will help him walk on those stony roads of life so to speak. As we all know, life isn’t always easy, and it can be very challenging. But it is so amazing how God equips us each day with exactly what we need. He is the One who strengthens and empowers us to walk on this journey with Him. (August 2021)

JESUS’S BEAUTIFUL GIFT OF HEALING

When meeting Aurora, she started sharing about her life, past experiences, and the conversation quickly went very deep. In our time together, she shared that she has been having strong hip pain that was really bothering her. After praying, all the pain left, and Aurora received full healing in her hip. God restored her hip, and she was so excited and encouraged that she was pain-free. One of the most beautiful things about healings is that they are an invitation to see more of who God is. It is a gift that Jesus gives that we cannot earn. We can only receive through His grace. (May 2021)

GOD HEALS CRIPPLED FOOT

When we saw Anna for the first time, she was sitting in a wheelchair staring at the ground. During our conversation a little later, she seemed skeptical. She even took photos of us, and we were not exactly sure why. We waved at her, and we smiled for the camera. After just being with her and talking together about different things, she began to open up about her story. She shared how worried she feels concerning her adult daughter. It meant a lot to her that we were listening to her, and we prayed for her daughter together. At this point in our conversation, her heart was completely open.

Someone else joined our conversation, and he was very distracting. Eliel went closer to him and spent time with him individually. He was a gang member, and he was vocal about his opinions about life and the city. When Eliel was discussing different things with him, it allowed Naomi and Anna to have more privacy and to continue their conversation. Anna’s heart seemed so open and tender. 

Naomi asked Anna why she is in a wheelchair. Anna shared that her right foot is crippled. She said that she has not been able to move or feel her foot for a long time. Naomi asked her to share more. She shared that it is and has been completely numb and that she has zero mobility in this foot. The first two times Anna and Naomi prayed together for her foot nothing happened. After the third prayer, something amazing happened. Anna tested out her right foot, and Anna said with much surprise and a high-pitched voice that she can feel. Naomi asked her to try to move her foot again. Anna moved her foot very slightly. Naomi and Anna kept on praying together, and she was able to move her foot more and more. During prayer and while they were talking, Anna just kept on dangling her right foot back and forth. Naomi shared the gospel message and more about our loving Jesus with her. A little bit later in the conversation, Naomi invited Anna to try to walk. She said that she does not want to try because she has not walked for so long. For us, it was puzzling why she did not want to try to walk, although God was moving with his power, but we respected her decision. We thanked the Lord together for giving her the mobility in her foot back and taking away the numbness so that she could feel her foot again. Although she was not yet ready to walk, she was so very touched and kept on moving her foot with amazement. 

Two days later, we were walking in the same area of town, and Anna called out to us from a distance. We heard her say to us loudly “Come here, come here, I can walk, I can walk.” The smile on her face, while we were approaching her on our scooters, was priceless. Anna said to us that because of you I can walk again. Naomi took her into her arms and shared with her that it was Jesus who healed her. It was such a touching moment. A little after, Anna held Naomi’s hand, and they wanted to walk together. It was so beautiful seeing Anna walk with such joy. Anna experienced God’s healing power. We celebrated together what God did in Anna’s life. We are excited about how God will continue to reveal Himself to her in the future. God healed Anna’s foot, and He has much more in store for her than we can imagine. (April 2021)

GOD CAN HEAL BEFORE WE EVEN ASK

When we met Kevin, he shared with us that he had a very painful toothache. He said that he could not walk because his tooth pain was causing him an unbearable migraine. We asked him if we could pray with him. After praying with him, we asked how he was feeling. He said with a huge smile on his face that all the pain immediately disappeared when we asked him if we could pray with him. God healed Kevin before we even started praying. Through God's great grace, He can work in our lives even before we pray. He can heal before we proclaim his healing. God released his miraculous power without us being aware of what He was doing. God often does more than we already see, and His ways are always to be admired. (December 2020)

WHEN JESUS BRINGS HEALING

Maria was walking very slowly and seemed very weak. We went to her and asked how she was doing. She said how nice it was to talk to someone. Maria shared that she had a stroke and that walking has been very difficult. It has been discouraging for her not to be able to function as before. She was touched to hear what Jesus did for her on the cross and how precious God made her. After we prayed for her healing, Maria began to walk with her walker. We were able to see that she was walking faster and with much more stability. With joy, she said that she feels strength in her legs again and how incredibly touched she is that God did this for her. With a heartwarming laugh, Maria experienced God's love and His hand. She said that this was a very unexpected miracle and how grateful she was. She told us that she will now go to church again and that she is so happy that God touched her life. (December 2020)

WHEN MIRACLES HAPPEN

Toni was limping when we met him. He was in pain since he had an abscess that was just removed on the back of his right leg. We shared the gospel with him, and he was touched by the truth that God loves him. We noticed that God was already moving with His anointing before we even asked to pray. As we were praying for his leg, he began to bend his knee. He said that he wasn't able to do this before. As the pain was leaving and the swelling went down, he said that he would have never expected that. We have such an amazing God. He touches people who do not expect it. He heals those that do not even believe in the miracle. He brings healing to His searching children in order to reveal His great love for them. (November 2020)
