A city touched

Jesus, the hope of the world
God did what only He can do. During our Spring Gospel Campaign, thousands of precious people surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ for the first time. Young and old responded to the Gospel with tears, joy, and open hearts as they experienced the love of God and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
As His Word was preached, Jesus also confirmed it with many testimonies of healing, freedom, and transformed lives. Yet above every miracle, we rejoice that thousands entered the Kingdom of God and started a new life with Christ.
TUMOR DISAPPEARS, SALVATION FOUND IN JESUS
Doctor Confirms Miracle
Teresa came on the very first night after hearing announcements about the Gospel meetings throughout the city. For months, Teresa suffered from a diagnosed tumor near her heart. The condition caused severe pain in her chest and made daily life difficult. Before discovering the tumor, doctors initially suspected tuberculosis, but further examinations revealed a growth near her heart. The situation became so serious that doctors informed her she would need surgery. Teresa shares, “I had a lot of pain on my heart and I had a tumor on the left side near my heart. They wanted to operate.”
That first evening, Teresa listens as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached and remains for the prayer for the sick in the name of Jesus. During that time, something remarkable happens. The pain that troubled her for so long suddenly disappears, and she knows that something changed.
The transformation is so dramatic that the following day Teresa returns to the hospital for another test. Because all of her symptoms have vanished, she wants to know what happened. Teresa testifies that after being re-examined, the tumor can no longer be found. Carrying her medical documents in her hands, she returns on the fourth night of the campaign to testify about the miracle she received.
That night, Teresa stands before the crowd with joy. She explains that the tumor has troubled her since January and testifies, “I was healed the first day of the crusade.”Then she boldly declares, “Jesus Christ has healed me.” With a smile on her face, Teresa shares, “I couldn't jump. But now I can jump.” Then she demonstrates it before the crowd, celebrating the freedom she has received. When asked who healed her, Teresa replies, “Jesus, the God you preach about.”
Yet the greatest miracle is not that. That same night, Teresa responds to the Gospel invitation and surrenders her life to Christ. The Savior who healed her physically also changed her life through the gift of salvation.
Her testimony became a powerful reminder that the Gospel is a message to be heard, but also the power of God at work in the lives of those who believe. What began with a miracle of healing ended with the greatest miracle of all, a life surrendered to Jesus Christ.
I AM FREE
Healing & Salvation Found In Jesus
Naomi Chitenga came to the Gospel Campaign after seeing the posters. She shared, “I had some problems with my heart. I was feeling a lot of pain. Like somebody is piercing me. For many years.” After praying in the name of Jesus, we asked Naomi what had happened. With joy, she responded, “I am free. I am completely healed.” She jumped up and down with joy. While we celebrate Naomi’s healing, we rejoice even more that she responded to the Gospel and gave her life to Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, there is joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Naomi was connected to a local church where she can grow in her newfound faith.
JESUS HEALS HER EYES
Mai Jambo shared, “I had a problem with my eyes. I had difficulty seeing. I could not see people properly. I could not see clearly for many years.” As we spoke with her, we asked how she had been able to see before if her eyesight was so poor. With a smile on her face, Mai reached into her pocket and pulled out a pair of glasses. “These are my spectacles,” she said. “I don’t need these glasses anymore. I am able to see all the way over there.” Then, still smiling, she declared, “Jesus Christ has healed me tonight.”
BROKEN LEG HEALED & SAVED BY JESUS
Herimashili came to the Gospel Campaign with a broken leg. For weeks, he relied on a crutch to walk and suffered from pain. He shared, “I had a broken leg. When I was home. On 2 May. All these days I was using a stick. I couldn’t walk without a stick. I had a lot of pain.” During prayer in the name of Jesus, Herimashili was touched by Jesus. He testified, “Now I am healed. I can walk without any help. I had a fracture. But after being prayed for, now I am able to walk. I am healed. I am healed. I am healed.” As he stood before the crowd, joy filled his face. The man who arrived dependent on a crutch was now celebrating what Jesus did in his life. Herimashili shared that he wanted to have his cast removed the following day. He said, “I will go to the hospital tomorrow.” But an even greater miracle took place that day. After hearing the Gospel, Herimashili surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. “I have received Christ today. After receiving Jesus, I am so happy.” Holding the crutch he had depended on, he declared, “I will throw it.” Together, we threw the crutch off the stage as the crowd erupted in celebration. Overflowing with joy, he continued declaring, “I am so happy. I am so happy.”
HE FOUND THE LOVE HE NEVER THOUGHT WAS FOR HIM
For much of his life, Ndiya believed that God could never truly love him. Reflecting on his life before Christ, he shared, "I used to think that God did not love me because of the things I had done." But everything changed the night he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As the message was preached, Ndiya heard that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and that through Him, God offers forgiveness and new life to all who repent and believe. For the first time, he realized that God's love and forgiveness were available to him as well.
That night, Ndiya surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and received Him as his Lord and Savior. With joy he shared, "My testimony is, that when they preached, I received Jesus Christ as my Savior..."
Today, the guilt he once carried has been replaced by the peace that comes from knowing he has been forgiven through Jesus Christ. Instead of wondering whether God loved him, Ndiya now rejoices in the assurance that he belongs to Christ. Ndiya received the Embrace booklet for new believers to support him in his next steps of faith and was connected to a local church.
I RECEIVED JESUS CHRIST
Carrying her child on her back, Vereina Pierson came to the Gospel Campaign because of constant itching and discomfort in her ears. She shared, “I had an itch in my ears and it was the problem that caused me to come here.” That evening, Vereina heard the Gospel and responded to the invitation to follow Jesus Christ. With joy she testified, “When I came here I received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior… I felt good to just surrender my life to Jesus.” That night, a daughter came home to her Heavenly Father. After prayer in the name of Jesus, her ears were healed. The constant itching that brought her to the Gospel Campaign disappeared, and she was completely well. With a smile, she later told our team, “I am very happy.”
Saved & now growing in church
"I received Jesus Christ." Those words marked the beginning of a new life for Stenless. After hearing the Gospel, he surrendered his life to Jesus for the first time. Through the Embrace follow-up system, he received our "Welcome into the Family of God" booklet and was connected to a local church. Today, Stenless faithfully attends Sunday services, weekly Bible studies, and is being discipled by a local church that participated in the discipleship trainings before the Gospel Campaign. His story is a beautiful reminder that the Gospel does not end with a decision, it begins a transformed life.
Impact that multiplies.
One bishop shared: “Embrace Worldwide has truly done what its name stands for. It has helped us as churches embrace one another. We have never seen something like this before, where Pastors and believers from different denominations have come together in such unity to reach the lost. The harvest has been great, and the work in the field has been so powerful. It feels like revival. Thank you for bringing in this harvest and impacting so many leaders in our nation. Now we must continue helping these new believers grow in our churches.”
