NOW PLANTED IN THE CHURCH AND GROWING IN THE FAITH

From living in the world to living for jesus

Richard had been living far from God. He spent his days drinking, smoking, and doing the very things he knew God warned us from. But everything changed the day he heard the gospel of Jesus. As the preaching began, Richard felt something stirring in his heart. He listened to the Word of God and made a decision that would change his life forever. 3.5 months after the gospel campaign, Richard shares:  “My name is Richard. I heard about the crusade through the people who were making announcements about it. I was encouraged to attend the crusade so that I would hear the gospel. When I attended the crusade after the preaching by Naomi I felt so good because in the spirit I felt like these preachers are leading me to a right path. I decided to follow Christ because He is the one who works out things in a person's life.” 

After his decision to follow Jesus, he received the “Welcome into the Family of God” booklet and was connected to a local church through the embrace follow-up and discipleship system. Richard continued to share: “I received the book and the book which I received makes me feel good and it's helping me to understand things and move forward. I go to church every Sunday… God is helping me through the people who are guiding me. I am seeing things changing in my life, the way things used to be isn't the way things are anymore. My life has started becoming better from the time I received Jesus Christ. I just want to thank God the Creator because He has given me direction through the people who are encouraging me through speaking things according to God. I am thankful to God and am praying that God should be with me and continue being with me God the Creator.” Richard’s story is a testimony of God’s redeeming power. Once bound by the world, today he walks with Jesus. He is planted in a church, filled with joy, living in freedom, and renewed in strength through Him.
