FROM A GOSPEL CAMPAIGN TO SERVING JESUS

At 16 years old, Esther Nyirenda attended an Embrace Worldwide Gospel Campaign. She shared, “When I went, I received the Lord the living Savior when the Gospel was preached.” Esther also described the change that followed:

“In the past, I used to do things which were not good but now I have started doing good things because I received Jesus Christ to be my Savior of my life.”

After the campaign, Esther was connected with a local church through the follow-up system, and she read the Welcome into the Family of God New Believer booklet to help her in her first steps in the faith. She started attending Bible study and prayer gatherings and became an active part of one of the local churches that have been part of the trainings.  “The church teaches us the word of God and helps to live a good life. I thank God for everything he does.”

Today, Esther continues walking with Jesus and serves as part of her church’s praise team. Her story shows the beautiful fruit that can follow when someone hears the Gospel, responds to Jesus, and is then connected into continued discipleship and the local church.
