A FRESH START FOR JOSEPH

We met Joseph about five months ago while walking through the neighborhood. At first, he seemed unsure why we were speaking with him, but as we got to know him, he opened up about the challenges of living on the streets. He wasn’t aware of any resources that could help him, so we talked with him about available housing programs and helped him fill out an application online.

Fast forward five months, and we saw Joseph again—this time, with a big smile on his face. He was excited to share that he had secured housing and was no longer sleeping outside. He told us how much that moment of connection meant to him and how grateful he was for a fresh start.

It was incredible to see the hope in his eyes as we talked about the journey he has been on. His story is a reminder that sometimes, a single conversation can change everything.
